The docu-series of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, which aired on the streaming giant Netflix last month, continues to generate buzz, and now it seems that the couple is also losing the battle for public opinion.

In a recent poll conducted by the British newspaper The Times, it was found that almost half of the respondents answered that they believe that Harry should be stripped of his title as the Duke of Sussex. According to the survey, 44% of the participants responded that Harry should be stripped of his title, while only 32% believed that he should continue to have him.

Beyond that, the survey also found that respondents expressed much more sympathy (44%) towards Harry’s brother, Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton than they identified with Harry and his wife (17%).

As for their direct reaction to the series, only 7% answered that it made them appreciate the couple more, compared to 23% who now, following the content presented in it, think much worse things about them.

As a reminder, in January 2020, Markle and Harry announced their retirement from the royal family, and moved to live in the USA. In the meantime, 65% of the respondents in the survey believe that the couple retired voluntarily, compared to only 11% who believe that they forced the couple to leave.
