According to a media report, the Viennese is facing a loan move to Süper-Lig bottom Ümraniyespor.
According to Turkish media reports, Yusuf Demir, who has little playing time at leaders Galatasaray Istanbul, is about to be loaned out. Like the daily newspaper Liberty reported on Tuesday, Süper Lig bottom Ümraniyespor hopes to loan the offensive player. Demir is therefore aiming for a change to a club where he has a regular place.
For Istanbul he has only played five league games this season with around 90 minutes of playing time. Most recently, he was not even in the Galatasaray squad in the round of 16 against Alanyaspor on Tuesday.
The 19-year-old moved to Istanbul from Rapid in early September. Austria’s international was worth 6 million euros to the traditional club. So far, however, the Viennese has had a difficult time behind players such as Belgian Dries Mertens or Spaniard Juan Mata.
