The Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (PKS) today invited the companies, its members, to participate in the humanitarian action to collect aid to Turkey and Syria, affected by the devastating earthquake, in accordance with their possibilities.
The humanitarian action was initiated by the Serbian Philanthropic Forum, and the support will be aimed at providing food, water and medicine, shelter and temporary accommodation, support for the youngest and most vulnerable.
“After the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria, homes, hospitals and roads are now ruins, and thousands of people are without food, shelter and water,” the PKS statement said.
It was pointed out that the economy of Serbia, in cooperation with the Serbian Philanthropic Forum, has always responded in crisis situations by collecting aid for the vulnerable in Serbia, the region and beyond during the corona virus pandemic and natural disasters.
