The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution banning officials from traveling abroad for the duration of the war without good reason, UNIAN reports.
“In pursuance of the decision of the National Security and Defense Council, the government approved a resolution that prohibits officials from traveling abroad without good reason for the duration of the war,” Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.
Shmyhal stressed that people’s deputies, officials, representatives of local authorities, prosecutors, judges and many other officials can cross the state border for a business trip.
“It is possible to go abroad for negotiations, for treatment, to care for minor children. Going on vacation is not. Unfortunately, there are those who, even during the war, did not understand these basic things. Therefore, there was a decision of the National Security and Defense Council, there was a corresponding presidential decree Ukraine, and now there is a corresponding resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers,” the head of the Ukrainian government said.
