Mojtaba Fada, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the province of Isfahan, threatened to kidnap and deliver to Iran Likud leader Benjamin Netanyahu, who is tasked with forming a new Israeli government.
“The former prime minister of the Zionist regime expected that the protests in Iran would pave the way for him to Tehran. But with the help of Allah, the Islamic Republic will win, and we will drag this prime minister to Iran on a leash and in the collar of a slave,” The Jerusalem military leader quotes post.
This statement was made at the funeral ceremony for IRGC militants who died in Isfahan in clashes with demonstrators. Fada promised that opposition speeches would be suppressed, and also called for the destruction of the state of Israel.
Recall that Iranian leaders, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, accused Israel and the United States of managing the protests, which have been going on for two months. So far, the regime has failed to suppress mass discontent.
